The Dwelling Place

The Dwelling Place is a free dinner program in Woburn center that was founded in 1987 and is operating in the United Methodist Church at 523 Main Street.

Free To-Go meals are prepared by members of local churches and organizations for individuals and families in need. We also have space for guests who would prefer a sit down dinner.   

We get donations of fresh fruit, vegetables, and grocery items from Spoonfuls, The Food Drive, Food Link and these are distributed on a first come, first served basis to our guests.  

We are open every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and everyone is welcome.

Guests should arrive at 5:00 pm. If you join us, please enter through the side door on Harlow Court off Main Street.  Guests should form a line, and one by one will have the opportunity to select from the donated food items, be provided a To-Go meal, and if they choose,  can enjoy their meal in the "Stannard Room".
